Compliance with Data Protection Laws<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In using the Lynx application, customers (&#8220;Customer&#8221; or &#8220;you&#8221;) must comply with all applicable data protection laws and regulations, including but not limited to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Data Protection Act 1998<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Customers must notify IFCon when any personal data held by IFCon on their behalf is no longer required for the purposes for which it was obtained. Customers will bear the reasonable charges levied by IFCon for the destruction of such data or may use the Lynx system\u2019s built-in facilities to delete data themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Consent and Data Responsibility<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Customers are responsible for obtaining all necessary explicit and informed consents from data subjects whose personal data is processed using the Lynx application.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Customers must maintain records of these consents as required by applicable regulations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Lynx system must not be used to store or process data related to individuals under the age of 16.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Indemnity<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Customer agrees to indemnify IFCon against any costs (including legal costs), claims, damages, demands, or expenses arising directly or indirectly from any third-party claim resulting from the Customer\u2019s breach of applicable data protection regulations. Additionally, the Customer will be responsible for reasonable charges levied by IFCon for work performed in connection with any such claim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Data Usage and Retention<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Lynx application uses personal data, including names, email addresses, and mobile telephone numbers, for the following purposes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Providing access to the Lynx system<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Facilitating communication among users for business purposes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>It is the Customer\u2019s responsibility to ensure that personal data is removed from the Lynx system when there is no longer a legitimate business interest or legal basis to retain it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. Use of Google Services<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">a. Calendar Synchronization<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Users may opt to enable two-way synchronization between their Lynx calendar and a Google calendar. This feature allows users to integrate their Lynx calendar with other Google calendars or sync with other calendar programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">b. Google Maps<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Lynx uses Google Maps to determine the proximity of addresses to a specified postcode, assisting with locating previous installations within a geographic radius. Maps may also be used for navigation purposes within internal documentation. All map functionality is anonymous, and no personal data is recorded in connection with Google Maps usage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6. Data Security<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure, or access.
